Doctors Appointment

Woohoo! Today was doctors day! I always look forward to these appointments even though they are never any different and take about 5 minutes, but they are fun and used to mean that I had completed another month. Starting today I get to go to the doctors every two weeks-I don't know how those appointments differ at all but who cares- it means I'm that much closer! Anyways so we got to hear little baby girl again today which is always so nice. It takes him like, no time to find her heartbeat now so there isn't that stressful 20 seconds where you are waiting for him to find her-she's got no place to hid! The doctor said she is still breech but that he won't worry about it until 36 weeks. He reminded me again that there is a chance with my pelvis that she may not turn on her own. But again, he said he wouldn't try turning her until 36 weeks because anytime before that she would still be able to flip herself back around. He didn't measure me today but I think he just forgot so oh well to that. I also had to take my glucose test today. Those always suck. I got really sleepy half way through and was fitting to take a nap in the waiting room. I also had my iron and b12 rechecked today. He told me that those two anemia's may or may not go away after the birth. He said sometimes they are pregnancy related and sometimes not but that they will just continue to monitor the levels and try to keep my stores up. Currently my iron stores are right around a 10 which is as low as they can be without some other form of intervention. The doctor said they are supposed to be around 14. He didn't say anything about the b12 other than he wasn't really concerned that either of these problems would cause pre-term labor which was my biggest worry because everything I've read says they can. I also found out that I could have a new infection in my old belly piercing which isn't fun. I got an infection there when I got it down so I only had it for maybe 3 or 4 months and it healed and everything, or so I thought. I asked him about it today because its been hurting really bad like the skin is tearing and thats we he told me that it could have become infected again. We'll just be keeping an eye on it now.

Well, thats all I've got. I'm officially done with one the first full week in my last trimester so that is exciting. At my next appointment I will be 31 weeks- wow time is flying!
