32 week Quick Update

I'm 32 weeks today, yea! Anyways, had my appointment with Dr. Sinnot on Wednesday. He is really funny and after this first appointment I really like him! He was far from impressed with my blood sugar numbers and was less than impressed with the Diabetes Center so he is sending me to an endocrinologist. He said that I should be on insulin, not just watching my food intake. He also said that I should be faxing and reporting my numbers on at least a weekly basis not just free-wheeling through this whole thing, so to yet another doctor I go. He agrees with me in the fact that I will be giving birth to a toddler in a few weeks so that is nice, lol. Seriously though, he said once/if the baby reached 4500 grams (between 9 and 10 pounds) I can elect a c-section and he would recommend it at that point due to something about crushing the babys shoulders (can't remember the name) I will have at least one more ultrasound to check her size and will start doing non stress tests at my visits with him. Overall not to bad of an appointment. I go back on January the 8th so we'll see what happens between now and then! Oh and I forgot to mention that he said he will probably induce at 39 weeks. Sooner if she proves to be bigger still.
