A junkie builds a nest

Ok, so I'm not really a junkie but its funny to say. If you haven't figured it out I got put on insulin today. Yeck. Now I get to give myself a shot twice a day. My first one comes with dinner today and I'll be honest here- I'm a little more than scared about the fact that I have to inject myself. I suspect it'll be about the same process as taking a second does of really disgusting medicine and there will probably be tears involved as well.

On another note- I think the nesting has begun. Either that or I am very, very ill. I've been cleaning my kitchen for almost two hours. And no, I'm not nasty and thats why it took so long. This cleaning involved going through cabinets and emptying most of them. I emptied every item out of my fridge and took the shelves out and washed all of it. My sink is full of dishes that were "dusty". I filled a huge garbage can with random clutter that was annoying me (I will pry regret this some later but oh well). I took down my Christmas tree (for the record-why won't it fit in the box it came out of?! Geesh.) Even the dogs got it and now they are scared of me. Typically a brushing like they got today is followed by a bath so they are hiding from me. They totally would get one to if it was warmer outside or I could put them in the bath. The ferrets will pry get a bath but I'll have to convince Chris to do that... Next I'm working on the dining area. It won't take long as taking down the tree was the biggest issue in there. I need to take all my decorations to the garage too but after bringing the tree in by myself and paying for it dearly I also have to wait for Chris to put it away. So until then its in the way of my mopping. I could mop around it though.....My head is going crazy with everything I still need to do. I won't be able to finish it tonight for sure but I'll pry work on it some tomorrow too. I need to clean the nursery again and put the shelves up. I want to hang that tapestry in my bedroom. Still need to finish painting the room too. I REALLY need to clean out my office. Like real bad. I haven't hardly gone in there because the ferrets have smelt so strongly to me since I got pregnant that I can't go in there at all but I'll have to put a mask on and clean in there to. In fact their whole cage needs washed too- Chris will love that. Bah! The couch needs vacuumed. Speaking of vacuuming, the car needs it too. And cleaned out so we can put the car seat in. I need to file some papers. And shred some other ones. Ok. Thats enough. I'm finished with my snack now so back to work I go!
