I was in Target today and was passing by the baby department when something made me stop. That something was a new end cap of "designer diapers". ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! No, they aren't. These diapers start off on a bad foot for me anyways since they are Pampers Cruisers. If you don't remember why I hate Pampers-here is a link for you.
So besides that, I must ask? Why? Why, why, why must we have designer diapers? I mean, Huggies jean diapers were bad enough but now they expect people to pay $14.99 for a pack of 23 diapers. That breaks down to about 65 cents per diaper. Even regular old Pampers break down to about 22 cents per diaper and with sales and coupons you can get diapers as low as 11 cents per diaper. So why would anyone in their right mind purchase these? I don't get it. They aren't even cute. Not at all. They are disposable diapers with a pattern. Big whoop. I'm sure it took Miss Cynthia Rowley all of 10 minutes to pull these designs out of the air (oooh rattles on a baby diaper-original.) I mean, if you want cute diapers-switch to cloth and you'll have HUNDREDS of designs to choose from, don't feed the machine by buying these diapers. Seriously. I mean, just think about it. They poop in them. They are literal porta-potties. Not to mention now people are going to think its ok to take there child out in just a diaper. I mean since they are cute and all, why not? I'm sorry but taking a baby out in just a diaper is trashy. Its like you going grocery shopping in just your underwear-not. cute. I personally think Pampers is just taking advantage of consumers and I think Cynthia Rowley made a bad business choice by agreeing to this concept. And shame on Target for supporting either one of them.
