Blood Sugar

I just got a note from my diabetes doctor telling me that once again she is increasing my dinner dose of insulin. Boo that. But the good part of the note was that I probably will be able to quit my insulin ASAP after the birth this week. To this I say: WOOHOO! I very much look forward to no more shots! Granted I still have to monitor my sugars to make sure the diabetes actually does go away because sometimes it doesn't. Either way- as soon as I heard "...quit insulin.." I thought of everything I want to gorge myself on in the first few days post delivery. So far my list is:

1) Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen
2) Large Lemon Cokes from Frozen Custard (NOT DIET!)
3) Venti Carmel Macchiatto from Starbucks (I have no clue how to spell this...)
4) A Venti Chai Tea Latte with Organic milk from Starbucks
5) Some ice cream cake from dairy queen
6) Something heavily breaded and deep fried. I don't care what. Mushrooms perhaps.
7) Reese Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard from Dairy Queen
8) Sour gummi worms
9) A HUGE Mcdonalds coke

Obviously my sweet tooth took a major hit and now needs to recover- and make up for lost time.
