Maternity Leave

So up until today I had intended to take a full 12 weeks off after the baby comes. But being the paranoid person I am I regularly checked my benefits to makes sure my plan would still work. My orginal plan was to take one week unpaid and the rest short term disabilty, personal time and advance vacation. Guess what? I can no longer take vacation time in advance so that means I've got 6 weeks short term disability and a week of personal time. Maybe some sick time but not enough to matter. So now what? I'll have to save my bonus at christmas just to take more time off (one bonus is more than one paycheck for me). I should be getting two bonuses in december but I can only track one so I don't know how much extra money I'll actually have to use towards my leave. Bah. Its to much stress! And no, mom I won't save my next bonus-its already spent thankyouverymuch.
