*sigh*

Its been awhile blogspot crowd (aka- my mom!). Anyways, Sophia has been outta control fussy the past two days, so nerves are raw around the Hall house. She has been having "episodes" of non-stop crying in which she cannot be comforted or calmed no matter WHAT we do. Today we finally took her to urgent care after the 4th crying episode of today and in short, she has developed some "temporary" colic- most likely due to a small air bubble trapped in her tum that has gotten worse due to all the extra air she has swallowed thanks to all the crying. We are on a baby tylenol and nap regimen tomorrow in the hopes that it will get her calm and comfortable enough to not cry about it, which in turn will help that gas bubble dissapate. Vicious cycle. I'm thinking that we just went through the milk I had pumped from the coffee days. If you didn't know- coffee hurts her tum. To much caffiene or something. Plus it breaks her out really bad across her face. Now, I haven't noticed the rash on her face again, but her skin does feel bumpy again. I probably should've listened to my mom when she told me to dump the "bad" milk, but I'm still learning lessons. Luckily when I was trying to determine if it was coffee or not I marked the date I quit coffee so I knew how much to trash. Sadly- the marked bags started today so she had offically drank all the hyper caffienated milk yesterday. That could explain why her crying episodes weren't as bad today as yesterday. Who knows? All I DO know is that I hope my baby is back to comfortable soon. Another side effect is her lack of sleeping through the night. She has been waking up twice a night- which by the way, she hasn't done since, oh, about 2 weeks old- and its killing me (I know, poor me and my baby that wakes up TWICE. But I went from 8 hours a night to interupted sleep so, yea, I'm cranky about it). Anyways- hopefully we get it sorted out. I go back to work on Sunday (LAME) and I'd rather not have to have Christopher deal with this. So here's hoping. Well, thats all- a quick update for everyone. Pictures to follow, hopefully tomorrow if I get the time. I've gotten behind on house stuff since I've been handling Sophia non-stop the past two days. And I apologize in advance as to the lack of pictures. Seeing as how she hasn't been in the best of moods I've opted to NOT document this time with photos.

Until next time...
