Baby Einstein

Is what you should now call Sophia. She has a couple of Baby Einstein books (Thanks to Aunt Robin and Miranda and Uncle Randy!) This is the one they sent, they sent one with mirrors to look at and she freaks out at her reflection (which is hilarious!). Maybe today we'll make it all the way through without her crying....Anyways- this book is from her Grandma Cindy and you "pet" the neighborhood animals. The kitty here is her favorite and she gets very serious about staring down the kitty....I forgot to mention also in my last post what her stats are now. For a reminder- at birth she was 8 lbs and 21 1/2 inches long. At her one week appointment she was the same length and 8 lbs 4 oz. At her 2 month appointment she is now up to 11 lbs 4 oz which puts her in the 67% percentile and 23 1/4 inches long which puts her the 85% percentile. So she is long and skinny. I should've nicknamed her stretch instead of boogey....Maybe stretch can be Grandma's nickname.

This is completely off the topic of MY baby, but its still a baby and therefore still cute and worthy of a blip in my blog. This is a little baby sparrow egg. This little baby's mommy decided to build her nest in the wreath on my door. My front door. I didn't realize they were nesting in my door until this morning when I went to leave and thought I was going to die of a heart attack when the bird flew "out" of my door. Upon further investigation I found this little guy. I think I'll name her Sammy. And no- I won't move him. So if you come to visit me at my house, beware of the bird living on my door. And don't slam the door or knock to loudly either. Thanks! Sammy and I will greatly appreciate it. And I'm sure his mother would appreciate it as well. And don't freak out if she flies at your face because she didn't hear you coming- just be prepared to duck.
