I said I wouldn't say anything until it happened and IT HAPPENED! We moved! Can you believe it?! Oh its so nice. Its been such a stressful week though. We moved last weekend and on Sunday we found out that Christopher needed to drive to Texas to say bye to his brother, who is shipping out today, and bring his stuff home. So Monday we quickly tossed as much stuff in the trailer as we could after work then we came out to the house and he helped me unload the heavy stuff and then left. Then it was just me vs. the trailer o' crap and Sophia. Rough day. Plus the kitchen wasn't installed yet, so I haven't really been able to unpack anything until yesterday when it was finished because most of the stuff is kitchen stuff. Also, upon trying to take a much needed shower I discovered the shower doesn't work! Its a pipe issue, an easy but annoying fix. I also don't have a kitchen sink yet or a washer or dryer. All major suck points, BUT my mom is exactly 2/10ths of a mile down the road so its not that bad to take my stuff down there to wash and to shower. Hopefully the kitchen sink and the shower will be fixed this weekend so that will be nice. Oh I also don't have a mirror in the bathroom. Yeah. Now that is annoying. I'm thinking of going to Goodwill tomorrow to see if I can find a cheap one that will do the trick for now. And who knows when the washer will be installed. First they have to get rid of the mold in the basement. Yea. 90 degree+ heat plus natural basement (read: hole in the ground) plus no a.c. at that time equals lots of moisture which means mold. Yuck.
Sophia is LOVING it out here. As soon as she wakes up every morning she takes off and wants to play outside. She'd happily stay out from sun up to sun down if I would let her! Well time to run. Pictures to follow eventually!
