First time at the zoo

We decided to go to the zoo today. It was fairly warm (for March anyways) and rates were half price so we gave it a whirl. Well Sophia just had a ball! We got "off-season" entry fees to the zoo which we quickly found out meant that a lot of the animals weren't out yet, particularly the African animals, as its still to cold for them (I think) so we only got to see the aquarium and the standard animals like monkeys, bears, sea lions etc. but Sophia doesn't know what she is missing so she was quite happy. I was proud of her to because she behaved so nicely-not one single tantrum! We decided we'll try and go back this summer when all the animals are out so she can see everything. Hopefully by then we'll also have a smaller stroller so her poor Daddy won't have to carry her through the park (it was a bit busier than expected and our stroller is an "suv" style stroller).
