Shopping

So I would like to start this by saying that I HATE when people camp on a product on ebay. This morning I was bidding on a pink classic pooh crib set. Christopher is pretty good at bidding and I was at work so he put in the final bid for me, but I still was receiving text message update on the auction. So I know exactly what time the auction ends and I see that Christopher placed the bid about 1 minute, give or take before the auction ended. It must have been in the last five seconds that someone jumped a beat us by a dollar. ONE DOLLAR! Seriously, I received 2 texts back to back, one says "you've been outbid" the next says "auction ended" JERK! And to know that it was probably the seller not wanting to let her product go that cheap makes me even more angry! Bah!

Anyways, so, on to the rest of my shopping. I've been looking at and picking up little things that I'm not really expecting to receive as a gift, some necessary stuff and some bonus stuff, accessories for the nursery and such. I haven't picked up a lot because I've been shopping around for the best deals. Well I was back on ebay looking at more crib bedding (urg...) and decided to search real quick through their cloth diapers because I'm still trying to find some newborn sized diaper covers (my mom bought one pack that is 12 months and thats the smallest size I've been able to find yet, apparently little babies don't wear diapers...or pants for that matter....) Let me tell you what. Someone out there is making a KILLING on these cloth diapering ladies. I absolutely can NOT justify 20 dollars for ONE diaper. I don't care what it does. It can sing and dance for all I care and its still to expensive. I mean, c'mon, who decided that diapering was such an art? Haven't people been doing cloth diapering for years? All I need people is some newborn plastice diaper covers. I do not, however, need your Super Soaker Fuzzy Butt Extreme 2010 top of the line model. Dang!

So maybe it wasn't the nicest thing to do but I feel a lot better that I totally "stole" an item on ebay from nine other people in the last seconds. The same thing that other person did to me over that crib set is what I did to these people. And I did it to prove that I can play in that league. And I don't really feel bad about it. I just bought a boppy for 5 bucks and all cause I'm more sneaky than nine others. I'm basically a ninja.
