Park/Zoo

Have I mentioned that I hate uploading pictures using a dial up connection? Well if I haven't- then here is my mention. I haven't posted many pictures because of this but I'm hoping the remodeling will be done this week and we'll FINALLY be able to move out to the new place and I can FINALLY get some real internet set up instead of using my Blackberry! Anyways. Since we're moving outside of town, daily trips to the park/zoo will be at a minimum. I don't think Sophia will mind at all considering we'll be able to be out in the yard more often out there then we are in town. We're out as much as possible but Sophia is obsessed with streets and that can get tiring having to redirect her away and then watch as she has a tantrum on the sidewalk over it. The new place has a fenced in yard so the dogs will be able to roam freely (thank goodness because I cannot WAIT to get them out from under my feet) and Sophia and I will be able to play without arguing about it. Anyways- back to the point. Here are some recent pictures from our last trip to the zoo!


She wasn't to sure about this turtle. She loves animals, but I don't think she enjoys them as much when they are bigger than her!


Sophia LOVES this. Its a clear tunnel through a part of the river otter exhibit. Its clear all the way around so you can see the otters swim above and under you. This day they were playing right there at the tube and Sophia loved watching them.


This is a tunnel through the prairie dog exhibit. You can kind of see at the top of the picture a clear bubble. You can go through the tunnel and pop out at one of these bubbles and be in the middle of the exhibit and able to watch the prairie dogs up close. Sophia isn't quite tall enough to pop out on her own yet!
