Have you ever heard of reverse cycling? Well, its this really annoying thing that babies do when they are away from the mothers for feedings (breastfed babies). Basically, she eats all day long, but at night when she is with me she tries to make up for all bottle feedings with extra nursing sessions. Given that she eats 3 times while I'm at work (yes, 3 times. Thats 12 oz in 6 hours. Whole different situation with that) she tries to add in three extra mom sessions which means she spends a lot of time nursing when I get home, and inevitably more time waking up overnight. Some moms encourage this, this mom doesn't. I'm tired. She's already gone from sleeping through the night to waking up twice a night. Last night she woke up at 12, 2, 3, 5, 7. Seriously? Yes, no jokes. So that coupled with the 12 oz in 6 hours feeding sprees during the day led me to cereal. Her Doctor said around 4 months she would pry be showing she needs more to eat, but to start cereal whenever she starts waking again at night. She woke up FIVE times last night. So for breakfast, she had cereal (I started her at breakfast in case there is any reaction her doctor will be available and it gives her more time to get out of her system before bed. I don't think there is anything to worry about though, she's fine and its been awhile)
